Dr. Irehobhude O. Iyioha ('Ireh Iyioha') is an award-winning legal scholar, adjunct assistant professor at the University of Alberta's John Dossetor Health Ethics Centre, and founder and CEO of the Patricia Eromon Iyioha Foundation Fund, which promotes the social and educational betterment of women and children here and in Nigeria.
She has received more than thirty awards and honors, including the World Congress on Medical Law award. A past Canadian Institutes of Health Research fellow, she holds advanced degrees in law from the University of Toronto and UBC and has served as a senior policy analyst/policy consultant with Alberta Health. A literary writer published in Harvard University’s Transition Magazine and other publications, Ireh has also lectured both in Canada and internationally.
